Sovereign Truth is a website concerned with the state of Biblical teaching in the church today. We believe that too many preachers preach a "truth" totally removed from the truth of the Bible and even go so far as preaching a different gospel (Gal 1:9-10). It is our intention "to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3). We trust that, in the providence of God, we will continue to teach the truth as proclaimed in the Bible, especially as pertaining the gospel. Mission Statement

The mission statement of Sovereign Truth comes from 2 Timothy 4:1-5. We feel that this is what the Lord wants us to do.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 ISV

1 In the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge
those who are living and those who are dead, and in view of his
appearing and his kingdom, I solemnly appeal to you
2 to proclaim1 the message. Be ready2 to do this whether or not the
time is convenient. Refute3, warn4, and encourage5 with the utmost
patience when you teach6.
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with healthy
doctrine but with itching ears will surround themselves with
teachers who cater to their own needs.
4 They will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths.
5 But you must be clear-headed7 about everything. Endure suffering8. Do
the work of an evangelist9. Devote10 yourself completely to your
ministry.
